General Assembly of WPAF on 6/5/2017

Also as it had been announced, contacted the General Assembly of WPAF on 6/5/2017.

The decisions of the G.Α. that have been taken by the members of WPAF, unanimously are as following:

1. Approved the minutes of the General Assembly on 11th November 2016
2. Afterwards the resignation of  Mr. Zaya as the Vice President and representative of the continent of Oceania of WPAF (14/1/2017), in his position appointed Mr. Konstantinos Papaioannou  (Member of the Australian Pangration Federation), also Mr. Papaioannou appointed as Vice President of Technical Committee.
3. Mr. Andrei Terentyev appointed as President of the Technical Committee of WPAF 
4. Mr. Gheorghe Cojocaru appointed as Vice President and representative of continent of Africa of  the WPAF.
5. Appointed the members of the Executive Committee of WPAF as following

           1. Andreas Mazarakis

           2. Vladimir Stepkin

           3. Panagiotis Kanellopoulos

           4. Athanasios Nakasis

           5. Pietro Amendola

           6. Cojocaru Gheorghe

6. Decided the amendment of the Constitution according to the proposed articles and the directions of the lawyers

Furthermore the B.D. of WPAF would like to congratulate the Organizer for the amassing event, the Hellanodikes for their efforts to fulfill their duties and the athletes for their high Technical Level.

      Dear Colleagues

The B.D. of WPAF believes that the World Championship in 2016, in Italy and the World Cup in 2017, in Moscow has shown us the path for the pangration’s development. In order to achieve the expansion of Pangration we have to organize seminars and championships all these activities  bring us together, we understand each other better and we make strong relationships that will help us to achieve our goal which is the expansion of pangration so that it will become again an Olympic Sport.
